The Pompano is back. Mid-County’s favorite gathering place and events venue is re-opening, better than ever before. Ed Hughes bought the Pompano Club in 1978. The private dining club became a local favorite over 40 years. And ever since it closed, the people of Southeast Texas have been clamoring for its return.
